James Hodgson-Barker, BSc (Hons), CTA – Manager
James qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2009 and is a Manager at Mark Davies & Associates Ltd. After a number of years in the IT industry he diversified into tax and joined the Personal Tax team at PKF (UK) LLP in 2006.
James assists Mark on advising ultra high and high net worth individuals on the UK tax implications of offshore structures, specialising in the taxation of non-domiciliaries. He also focuses on Expatriate Taxation advising inbound and outbound employees on how to effectively structure their UK tax affairs.
James is a co-author of chapters on Tax Planning for Foreign Domiciliaries, Non Residents UK Investors, and Offshore Tax Planning for UK Domiciliaries Through Trusts which are published in Tolley's Tax Planning.
